A weekend shoot at Penicuik wouldn't be the same without some interludes of rain and wind, and this weekend didn't fail to meet the mark. Saturday started full of promise, with sunny intervals during the day, but as the competitors started the final distances, so did the rain. Overnight there were torential down pours, sending dread in to the hearts of the hardiest of archers, however, after light rain during the fist distance, it cleared away to be a dry, but slightly blustery day.

How do I find out more about archery?

The club runs a beginners course once or twice a year (click here for details) which involves payment of a small fee. We supply the equipment, the coaches and at the end of the course you can then decide if Archery is a sport which you would wish more involvement and if so then you will be required to pay the appropriate joining fees.

Where can I find out more or speak with the Members of the club?

If you can't make it to a club shoot, send us an email with your querry
